Friends and Care Advocates,
Please help me circulate this message (and 2 min video) far and wide. Our at risk aging loved ones, those with chronic conditions, especially those living in senior living communities, are severely unprotected, and suffering. Every day there is more coverage of tragedy in the press. We need to get these independent and assisted living communities protected with our Electronic Caregiver connected care, immediately. It’s more than falls, medical emergencies and other events that often exist for hours before a staff member or family member discovers someone in need. Thousands each day are suffering in pain and fear for countless hours, not knowing when someone will check on them. More commonly, we have aging and chronic individuals suffering from severe episodes of health decline resulting from lack of care plan follow through (non-adherence). Non-adherence is responsible for 50% of all treatment failures. My job is to deploy my connected care solutions to provide continuous support and oversight to chronic individuals and at-risk aging members of our population. I care for them in private residences and I care and support them in community living environments.
In senior living communities, annual influenza outbreaks and other infectious disease has been robbing people of function, dignity, quality of life, and resulting in skyrocketing mortalities every year, for decades. These communities have never had an effective, affordable, viable solution until now. COVID-19 has exacerbated the problem. Infectious disease is entering the communities through administrative members, chefs, cleaning crews, maintenance workers, visiting care workers, and family members. Please advocate for me and help me get connected with anyone and everyone you know inside these communities, managing these communities, or owner/operators.
Thanks for reading my update and watching the 2-minute attached video. It’s an eyeopener and sharing it can save a life tomorrow. The life we save together might be somebody you know and love!
